A club for MIT musicians to arrange, rehearse, and perform live together.
About Us
MIT LIVE is a student organization where musicians at MIT get together to form bands, rehearse, and perform at our end-of-semester showcases. We play many genres including rock, pop, R&B, indie-pop, jazz, international music, and more.
Each semester, we put members into bands based on the setlist, rehearse throughout the semester, and close out with a live showcase. Members can also play at gigs and produce covers for our YouTube.
Interested? We hold auditions at the start of each semester open to anyone in the MIT community. Instrumentalists, vocalists, songwriters, producers, and AV/lighting tech are all welcome.
What We Do
Every semester, members join bands and perform a song at our showcase.
